Jubilarni 10. Istrakon održati će se od 20. do 22.03.2009. u Spomen domu u Pazinu.
The main goal of Istracon as a manifestation is the promotion of science-fiction and fantasy in the region (and country), all as part of a weekend gathering of SF&F fans and other people of good will. Even though we have travelled a long and thorny road since year 2000 and the first Istracon, the convention is still light years away from what we want it to be. However, no pain – no gain, so year after year we have been trying to make one step further to our goal of approaching the impossible, the dream or perfection, just like SF is supposed to be.
